The museum regularly hosts programs that will get your child learning in a whole new way. You can come in and let your child create with their Artful Babies program or get in a really good stretch with their Yoga at the Museum classes. Even if you’re not in the mood for a structured class, you can still go out and explore the gardens or stop by the interactive children’s gallery. 


My Gym Columbus

If your toddlers really need to let out some energy, try out My Gym in Columbus, GA. They have programs that gently introduce kids to gymnastics. Come in for their Tiny Tykes program for kids ages 4 months-12 months, or give your child the opportunity to let loose with their practice and play program for kids up through the age of 10 years. If you’re not yet set on getting a membership, you can stop by and try out their guest experience. 


Oxbow Meadows

Oxbow Meadows is one of the best ways to get your Columbus, GA toddlers to interact with nature. The Environmental Learning Program is presented through Columbus State University. Your child will get to learn about how to make honey at the beekeeping workshops or get to explore the outdoors with the Spectacular Science Saturdays. They also host yearly events such as ReptileFest, Honey Harvest, Frogwarts, and FairyFest. 


Coca-Cola Space Science Center

At Coca-Cola Space Science Center, your child can learn all about the world outside our own. The center provides you with different ways to learn. You can sign up for a staff-led tour or watch a presentation at the Omnisphere Theater. There are interactive exhibits that will get your child excited to learn about space. You can also experience a flight to the ISS or look through real-life Apollo memorabilia.
