Visiting a pumpkin patch is one of the best ways to kick off the fall season, and The Farm at Rocky Top is a must-see for families in Columbus! This charming spot offers much more than just pumpkins—it's packed with fun activities that will get everyone in the fall spirit. From wagon rides around the picturesque farm to a petting zoo full of friendly animals, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Kids will love bouncing on the inflatables and checking out the zip-line, while parents can enjoy the festive atmosphere and snap some memorable photos. And of course, no visit is complete without picking out the perfect pumpkin to take home!

For a quintessential fall experience, take a scenic drive to Ellijay, GA, home of the Georgia Apple Festival. Held annually, this festival is a family favorite, complete with over 300 vendors, pony rides, and plenty of delicious apple-inspired goodies. Enjoy fresh apple cider, homemade pies, and all things apple as you stroll through the festivities. While you’re in the area, stop by R&A Orchards, where you can pick your own apples and enjoy a tractor ride through the 160-acre farm. It’s a magical fall outing that will leave everyone in your family feeling the joy of the season.

Stone Mountain Park’s Pumpkin Festival is an exciting celebration perfect for families! During the day, explore vibrant pumpkin displays, take a scenic train ride , and enjoy fall-themed attractions. As night falls, the festival transforms into a glowing wonderland with light shows and a festive parade. There’s no shortage of fun for all ages, making this festival a must-visit for fall family adventures.

Closer to home, Pumpkins at Callaway Resort offers a whimsical autumn experience. Get ready for a spooky celebration at Nightmare Before Halloween Trunk or Treat Festival at Bluebelle Market!
